Hi Everyone,

I'm brand new to the site (and indeed to the whole world of The Warriors) and just wanted to say hi to everyone.

The whole reason why I'm here is that I recently got the Xbox game in a sale knowing absolutely nothing about it or the film.

After playing and enjoying it for a while I decided to rent the film to see if it was as good as the game. All I can say is wow!

As I've said knowing next to nothing about it, I was half expecting some kind of cheesy blax-sploitation film. Instead what I got was a film more enjoyable than anything I've seen this year. Good directing, good acting, a solid script and a great soundtrack - brilliant!

I've had a read of the site and I think I'll be hanging around here for a while so..........anyone want to come out to play!!!

as a warrior let me be the first to welcome you to our little piece of turf but for future referrence this kind of post goes in off topic

welcome.  It's no problem that the game led you here.  But it would be a good idea to seperate the game and the movie just as you might do with a sports game and the real thing.  You can't say the Dolphins will beat the Bills because it happened on Madden.  So try to avoid saying the dummies beat the rummies in the game, so that's how it is in the movie.  8)  Again, welcome.

im not very old here but i'm huge fan of the movie, game and this site which i hope you'll find as great as i do.
its a great site but make sure you abide by the rules: dont swear or overpost and make sure you post in the right topics.
