We all know the Lizzes were an all girl gang and the Furies were probly an all guy gang.But do you guys think there was every a gang with both guys and girls?That be pretty cool if there was.

Previously the Orphans, and now the Warriors.

Nah, Mercy didn't count as a gang member. 

That would be cool, man.  One of the things I loved about this movie was that Walter Hill was insistent on The Warriors being a mixed race gang.  In fact, from what I understand, he thought that that was one area where they drew their strength.

So I think he would have been totally open to your idea.  I just think it probably never occurred to him, but who knows?

Haha, maybe the prom couples were part of a real gang in disguise. - The couples! 

They should have added like an "ultimate" gang or something to the movie.

If there was girls in The Warriors gang maybye Ajax wouldn't have been aressted in the park.

I don't think Mercy was in the gang. She was before The Orphans "girl" so i am not sure about the Warriors. IF it was mixed i think it wouldn't work out casue they prably bring drama and checking out other gang memebers and start chaos. ( Ladies no offence)

Considering it was the 70's I'm just glad Walter Hill was progressive enough to put in an all girl gang in the movie.  Even more current movies I'm not happy with how girl members of squads or gangs are portrayed.  I find the girl character is either made more masculine to make her tough enough to hang out with the boys, oversexed which turns her into the whore of the group, or the weak member who has to be protected.  In any case she has to find some means to justify her being part of the gang.  There are some exceptions that are scattered here and there, Ripley in the first and forth Aliens, she got a little masculine in the middle two, Cleopatra Jones(not really part of a gang but a good strong female character), and a couple of others that I can't remember right now. 
I'm just worried that if there was a mixed sex gang the female members would have gotten sucked into the cliche girl in the group characters.

i didnt see in the game or the movie any mixed sex gangs
