My favourite is definitley the Riffs. They're so cool and 70's, a mixture of two great genres - Kung-fu and Blaxploitation.

Gotta go with the Riffs. The Punks were cool but the Furies were sisssies.

The Turnbull ACs. I think it would have been rough for the Warriors to win that fight since the Turnbulls had way more members clustered onto that old school bus.

adios,

The Baseball Furies are the coolest. The face painting designs are cool and they look like they could beat up most of the other gangs. I think the riffs aren't tough they just have alot of members.

I am curious as to what you mean by Blaxploitation. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but my impression is that Blaxploitation refers to those films of the 70's where black folk are portrayed in a particular bad way. For example, junkies, hustlers/pimps, usually the bad guys. From there such films as Super Fly, Cotton Comes To Harlem, and all those unforgetable ones with that super hot chick, Jackie Brown.

The High-Hats. They are often accused of dressing like mimes, but in reality, as anyone with any knowledge of sociotheology realizes, their outfits are representative of the traditional depiction of the evil Loa, Baron Samedi. Ergo, they are the most evil gang of all...

Yea gotta agree with you there! I also think they look the toughest out of all the gangs (They also look like like old metal heads with the bandanas & the denim)

Id also say there the only gang that would draw the least amount of attention if they walked down a New York City street. There Colours still look like something a modern gang would wear.

Id say there also the only gang in the movie that you'd cross the street to avoid.

I'd cross the street to avoid the Lizzies. Especially the one below, she's just plain scary.
