This topic is pretty senceless...first of all - why does it matter, and who really cares? And second of all - how is anyone supposed to know if that was the case, because the movie doesn't give anything that says that...?

I doubt that the Punks were the only gang that was intoxicated that night. My guess is many of the gangs indulged in drinking and things harder than pot. So I'm not sure it would be a handicap.

Yes, indeed these arguments are pointless. And I didn't notice The Punks drinking during the "Nowhere to Run" scene. ok, hold on it was a good question in a point of view, they were drinking and even if they wernt there must have been some thing up with them because if there on the riffs network they must be pretty tough and to get wrecked like that there not wimps like thefuries who hide behind a wooden bat and a paint kit form the market. i think that the punks should have easily taken the warriors considering they had probably 9 guys all packed and the warriors only 6 and 1 with a bat.

Well I'll tell you, if the Warriors were smokers, there is no way they get away from the Turnbulls.  Forget the Furies.  Maybe it's because I never got to see the Turnbulls fight, but, they looked like some desperate dudes.
