I've got to say, this is probably the only movie where I'll watch the entire credits. In The City is such a great song, and I'd love to know what the guys are talking about as they wonder off into the sunrise. Makes a change from the sunset - I think that makes it even better, though if the deleted introduction was included, they would do both! :D

I ALWAYS watch the movie until the very end, until the final credits have finished rolling. The Warriors walking up the beach, as the sun rises, with that blissful Joe Walsh song playing - you can't beat it. As the credits roll, sometimes I find myself thinking about the Warriors that didn't make it back to Coney, and how some of them - Cleon and Fox - will never see the ocean again. And sometimes, like you, I wonder what the Warriors are saying to each other. They're probably saying something like: 'Ha ha, the Rogues are being ripped apart back there, but we're just fine'.

I go all the way through the credits too. And yeah, the sun setting in and the great song of In The City creates a great atmosphere!

In The City is a great way to end a movie with all the Warriors walking towards the sunrise. And it's especially sweet to see Swan and Mercy holding hands.

It's strange because The Warriors is the only movie where I watch it until the final credits roll. It must be becaue of the song 'In the city', the sunset and the fact that through most of it The Warriors are still walking down the beach. It is also good because it never turns to a black screen when the credits roll it stays fixed on the warriors walking down the beach.

I always watch all the credits. For some reason I enjoy listening to In the City and trying to see how long I see the Warriors until the dots become too tiny.

I always watch til the end of the credits. It's actually one of the few movies I've ever recorded down to when it fades to black. It's great, the remaining warriors are walking toward a sunrise and leaving the a past full of messes behind them, literally.

The words of "In the City" fit with the theme of the end of the film, you have to watch it all....

Exactly. From there Swan's words to Mercy: "It's this what we fought all night to come to?" Far in that horizon there's hope of a better future.

I also like the way "In The City" sounds on the DVD - monotone and played faster than the CD version.

It would have been nice to see, as the Warriors are walking down the beach and In the City is playing to have a shot of Cleon fade in at the top left corner.
Maybe a daytime shot of him smiling wearing his tradmarked bandana then slowley fading out. Kind of a tribute to their fallen leader. Though he had to be tough to lead them they also would of had memories of a more relaxed happier Cleon when they were just hanging out in Coney and not going into such a tense situation like the night before.[/b]
