I was watching an old Simpsons episode where the family is putting together a giant jigsaw puzzle and 1 piece is missing.  Homer opens the closet to look there and says, "oh puzzle piece...come out and plaaayy." :D

Thats kind of funny actually, i was hoping you were going to say that homer walked into some bar on his visit to nyc and the punks where just sitting on the stools drinking some beer, that would be too good.

I was watching Roseanne the other night (yes I happen to like that show) and DJ wanted a paintset so he asked his parents and Roseanne's all "Okay Rembrandt. just get ready for school." lol she also coulda been talking about the painter. Though I doubt it cuz the episode was made in the 80's

I passed a sign on the freeway that said "Rembrandt" I'm not kidding neither. :o

Umm yeah. Rembrandt was a famous painter, so no doubt they were refering to him, and Rembrandt is a toothpaste brand actually so the sign was probably for that.

There's a link to the episode summary on the main page of the forum. You can read it here.

I remember them putting together the puzzle, but I can't remember that particular line. I'm going to have to start watching The Simpsons again to see it if that episode comes on any time soon.

There is another refrence to the Riffs in the simpsons. When Homer stats a fight with an man in a easter rabbit costume and is kicked to the floor he says "Silly rabbit kicks are for Riffs!"

That's funny. I also recall a reference in an old old episode of Rugrats. Angelica was searching for the babies for one evil reason or another, and she yelled "baaaaabies! come out to playeeeyay!"

I think that one's coming on Fox tonight. It's an Easter special so it should be on if you guys want to see it.

hey stickwarrior. the line actually goes "silly rabbit, kicks are for ribs" which is followed by homer kicking the rabbit in the ribs.
