If the warriors movie was a blockbuster they should have made some spin off movies of other Kool gangs in the movie. I woundn't mind seeing a movie about the riff's. There rise to power and being a all black gang in the 70's - YOU KNOW they had to fight everyone to get that big and good.

That is a good idea, I would defiently want to know about other gangs... I think some would have really great stories, like how they get turf and learn about their warcheifs and all that, sweet idea...

Something about your post made me envision a scene in my head where the Warriors are walking down a dark street and they hear music playing really soft down the way. Being like, "What the heck?" they continue and turn the corner, and suddenly a big blast of "DO A LITTLE DANCE, MAKE A LITTLE LOVE, GET DOWN TONIGHT!" comes blaring out. "Dang," says Fox, "It's Kool and the Gang."

This movie would have been a big success(maybe not blockbuster) if Paramount had not pussed out and given in to pressure and pulled the movie from theaters. It was never given a chance.

But, I guess I'm kinda glad it remains untouched. Sequels and spinoffs are almost never as good as the original. The Warriors is one of a kind. This movie coming out this year may share the same title, but it's got nothin on the original.

kool and the gang also came to my mind while reading the post! glad i'm not the only crazy one

I'de like to see how the Turnbull AC's formed, they all look really tough and pretty nuts.
