Fox saw who shot Cyrus right I mean when someone gets shot and you see someone with a gun you can easily assume he killed them.
So why didn't he say anything?
So why didn't he say anything?

Why Didn't he say anything?
Fox didn't say anything because he was preoccupied with trying to get C.I.
Plus he didn't know that every gang was out for only them.

We're going in there like everybody else nine guys no weapons

That seems to make sense but still I would have atleast said I knew who shot Cyrus atleast so they would know that they didn't do it. The Warriors themselves not the Other gangs.

If the Warriors had rung up the Riffs and told them it was the Rogues who shot Cyrus and not them, then every gang in the city wouldn't be looking for them, and there wouldn't be much of a movie.
Why Didn't he say anything?
I know that but still Just wanted to ask.
Then it would be called the Rogues.
Then it would be called the Rogues.

Nope, doesn't work.Coney Island Baby wrote:Rogues.......come out to playaaaeeyaaay!!!!!
You know, you'll probally go against me, but I think I'd like to see the movie with less fighting. Make it on a more intelectual level, wherein you get to learn more about the characters and/or gangs, learn about why The Rogues don't like The Warriors, things like that.

Sol Yurick's book concentrates more on the characters and the different relationships within the gang. But the problem with a film with 9 main characters is, there's not enough time to add depth to all of them. Personally, I like the fact that we don't know too much about the Warriors. It lets us use our imaginations and fill in the blanks ourselves. If we knew everything about them, there'd be nothing to discuss on forums like this. As for why the Rogues don't like the Warriors, I wouldn't waste too much time thinking about that one. Some people are just crazy. Luther says it best himself when he says: 'I just like doing things like that'.

Perhaps, but I still think it would be intresting to see a different, more personal take of the movie made.

Originally, another company wanted to adapt Sol Yurick's novel and they claimed that they would be completely loyal to the book and not change a thing. Then, on the day before Yurick was going to sign the contract, Paramount came along and offered more money, so he sold the rights to them instead. If he had sold the rights to the first company, then a more personal, intellectual film probably would of been made, but the Warriors as we now know it wouldn't of been made. So it was either one or the other. 'Take your pick.....fall out'. Personally, I love Walter Hill's version of the story, and I can't see any other director bettering it, and that includes Tony Scott.

Thats an intresting point. Perhaps, in some other alternative universe the other version exists, hahaha.
