In the final scene, as the Warriors walk up the beach, into the distance, and that blissful Joe Walsh song starts playing, it's kinda funny to think that behind them, the Rogues are being violently slaughtered by the Riffs.

Speakin of In The city did anyone ever hear The Eagles version of it? I think its still Joe Walsh singing. It sounds a bit more rockish and its not as good as the original but it is worth a listen.

What is also funny is how 100 Riffs would get from the Bronx to Coney. I think 100 guys dressed in all black on the subway would warrent some attention! And if they drove, a convoy of at least 10 beat up cars would also have been noticed real fast. So if cops were called in some Rouges may have survived the beat down!

I've heard about a scene at the end when you see a load of cop cars can be seen racing down the streets towards the beach!

Anyone else heard about this?

I read somewhere, on this site I think, that there's a deleted scene showing cop cars driving down to the beach at the end. Even if this is the case, the cops would've been outnumbered by the Riffs. As for how the Riffs got there, I dunno, maybe they teleported, the film is supposed to be set 'sometime in the future'.

I don't necessarily think the cops would be outnumbered. If they knew that many gang members were in the area I am sure the riot squad would be dispatched and let's remember the cops would have tear gas and guns. Let's hope any last scenes that were on the cutting room floor show up in the rumored SE DVD.

joe walsh was a member of the eagles... it was an eagles song, but he also did it solo for the movie...
