I can't remember where I read it, but someone had analyzed the different Warriors and had written that Ajax was only out for himself. I disagree with this. He was reckless, but i had always thought he was loyal. He always made sure the other Warriors made it onto the trains.
He was the last guy in through the door, so he was sure everyone had made it. LEt me know what you guys think.

Like Vermin said, 'You have a one track brain, you know that?' and frankly, I think this is true. Or just like in the graveyard. The only person trying to start an argument with Swan was Ajax, saying he wanted to be war chief. Ajax is a great character, one of my favorite Warriors, but if he was Warchief, every Warrior would probably be dead or arrested before they could get home. Thats all I can think of now..

i started a topic a while back about ajax being not as stupid as people thougt...

a lot of my arguments there fit in here too.

he's not out for himself. he would help any warrior out if needed and that includes swan.

no hesitation at all...ajax will stop and fight; never leave him. it was his instinct to protect his fellow warriors!!

he does like his strange wool however

What if Ajax wasn't so aggresive?
Would he still have stopped and fought The Furies, or kept on running and leave Cowboy behind to fend for himself?

p.s. that was probably one of my favourite debates during my time here, as it is controvertial but true! had some of the big boys of the forum at each other!!

I think that Ajax was loyal, in italian version Cowboy say to Swan that he want to return to take Ajax (he was with the policewoman) beacuse Ajax saves him from furies!

i think that i sure made some errors with the language, because i don't speak english (i'am italian!) very well and so, i say sorry!

I used to believe that Ajax was out for himself, but he was just stubborn. To me, it was his "chance" to become warchief, even thou he knew Cleon made Swan second in command. He did look out for other members of the warriors, like Cowboy.

SHM, you sum it up way better than I ever could. Swift Eye I wish I had found that post. I like That, I like it. I just figured this would be a great way to get other's thoughts on Ajax.

Swift Eye, I didn't put it up there, but his finding away out of the conclave and wmaking sure everyone got out was another thing. Forgot about it, thanks for the reminder, see you all at the Conclave '09 if not sooner.

I voted yes, then I remembered something;

when they were trying to get out of the big meeting, Ajax and Swan were busting through the fence, and when Ajax got through, he stayed back and helped them through.

So, I guess, I'm kind of half and half. I won't say he's completely loyal as he would have gone to Union Square with the others in case they needed help or whatever, but that might just be me.

Yeah, Ajax definately was out on his own however, he did protect his buddies when they were down and out. Ex: Baseball furie knocked out Cowboy. Cowboy even acknowledged that to Swan.

I surely don't think that Ajax was out for himself, he saved Cowboy in the park and made sure every one was safe during the whole event.

Ajax is a bit like a vicious, unneutered dog. He needs to be kept on a leash. And that night, with Cleon gone, he was off his leash. And when a vicious dog is off his leash he always gets into trouble. He'll run off and bite someone, or in Ajax's case try and bone someone. One thing about dogs though is that they're loyal, as was Ajax. He clearly cared about the other guys, some more than others, and looked out for them on quite a few occasions that have already been mentioned, so no I don't agree that he was only out for himself.

Ajax was loyale. if he wasnt loyale then he wouldnt stick up for cowboy when they were fighting the baseball furies
