damn...i have the game and i have looked in the cover and yep he looks like him.But not sure really. Also in the game cover theres one major screw up, in the movie (and also in the game) the riffs ask everybody to not come packed. In the cover you can see the bseball furies packed with bseball bats and everybody else isnt packed.well i like the furies so i dont really care after all. What would they be without baseball batt lets face it.

I noticed that too.

Here's the pic..

Image

Its in my sig too.

I think that the artist just threw his own ideas out there. Its a possiblity that pic came out before the movie did/or before any characters had a face or gang affiliation.
Point being...if you look at "Cleaon", he has on a Cochise style necklace, that Lizzie dont resemble any Lizzie from the film. That Furie didnt resemble any other Furie from the film either. Its hard to call it but we boppers know who our WarChief is..

The same pic is in my sig too...

Also notice that Vermin is bald and wearing sunglasses, Cleon has Cochise's face and Cowboy is wearing a turban (somewhere in the middle-ground).

Weirdness.

I think the bald guy with the shades is supposed to represent the Turnbull ACs, and while the lead guy is suppose to represent Swan, and the guy with the desert hat is supposed to represent Cleon---other than that I think that everyone pictured is simply a member of A gang, not necessarily The Warriors per say.

It is supposed to be a general overview of some of the particpants of the movie, not really any specific individual----I am not altogether sure that that poster wasn't designed before the cast was actually outfitted--so you do have to assume who everyone is except for the Baseball Fury. They are too obvious to miss.
But just because someone is up front--doesn't mean it represents any one specific in the movie.

You know who that girl reminds me of---the street dancer chick that was in those dancing movies that were take offs of MJ thriller video---they danced against each other and practiced in the streets.

Okay, I've got it figured out. This promotional poster must've been created by a conceptual artist in the early stages of the movie development. This is after some of the actors were first selected, so what the artist did was used reference photos from the actors (or airbrushed photos of the actors) and then edited them to his liking, to create a general big army of gang-looking people. This is because:

A - Vermin isn't bald and doesn't wear shades

B - Cochise doesn't wear the desert rag

and

C - Swan doesn't wear jeans, a generic vest and a red headband

The only definate gang look established at that time must've been the Furies. Anyways... that's my two cents.

More detailed re-done version of the poster:

man ,oddball that guy you say is vermin is a turnbull AC.The guy you say is cochise is cleon at early stages, and does wear a desert rag just it has leopard print to make it SHaGGY BABE :lol:One thing that is really strange is the supposed turnbull AC is wearing the exact same jacket as cleon.

Usually the movie's marketing campaign is done afer the production is wrapped, so the artist knew exactly who the characters and gangs were. I might be wrong on this, but I think the reason the artist deliberately made the characters in the poster a little obscure is the same reason why toy action figures never resemble the actors who play them. Anybody remember the old star wars action figures? They looked nothing like the actors. I've heard that this sort of thing is done for legal reasons in that if you use an actor's likeness in marketing and promo campaigns you have to pay them royalties.

Interesting about the poster...the hi hats have yellow tank tops. And who the hell are the dudes at the forefront with the arab turbans?

I take it the guys behind the "Hi-Hats" are The Punks, but they're wearing red and black stripped long sleeves.
And if you look closely in the back, you can make out guys with vertical stripped long sleeves, propably the so called "Jones Street Boys."

Are you blind? He's wearing a Warriors vest and he has Terry Michos' face. And the guy with Cleon's desert rag has David Harris' face. C'mon, open your eyes a little and you'll see it. Geez.
