Okay, this is my thought...how it was told to be a mistake where we see Swan tell Rembrandt to look for ther subway(and Rembrandt climbs up onto the statue), and then it goes to the scene where Ajax is arguing with Swan about being Warcheif, and in the backround, Rembrandt is seen climbing onto the statue again(an obvious thing to notice), it can not always be told to be a mistake, because maybe while Rembrandt was climbing onto the statue, the arguing that is seen happening, happened while Rembrandt was climbing onto the statue, and it was just showing what happened while he was climbing onto it. Maybe not...who knows, it's just a thought!

good point maybe a shot of Remebrandt and then a "this was what was happening while he was doing it" Not bad.

Or maybe he just climbed a different statue to get a different view of the place.

ya its true, but then it would be a directores mistake because you see him at the top looking around and then then nxt shot hes at the bottom so its like the reversed time for a second, and im pretty sure that is the same statue

So if it was a "go back in time and see what happened" howcome thats the only time it happens? It wouldn't be smart to just have one scene with a flashback.

maybe rembrant fell off the statue before he got a good look and had to climb the thing again to get a real look

Well he had a pretty strong grip on it before the camera changed...
