Have any of you hardcore soldiers ever been inclined to use The Warriors as a base for a school assignment or some sort of work obligation?

The last time I did was a couple of months ago for an English assignment where we had to pitch a modern-day adaptation of Shakespeare's JULIUS CAESAR. I chose to theme mine around you-know-what and delivered the introduction of the speech like Cyrus. Afterwards, my teacher mentioned I had forgotten "warriors come out to playeeee". I knew I was missing something!

How about you?

LMFAO Dude thats great  Last time i did The Warriors as a school project is a story. We were suppose to write stories so i made the last part of The Warriors into a book (Starting off with Luther) And surprisingly my teacher liked it, I don't know if she watched the movie or what. And I'm always doing stuff about The Warriors with my friends. But they ignore me :( They never watched the movie :( And since im always talk about it i annoy them.  :(

I had to do an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, so I used The Warriors, and The Rogues. Instead of the montagues, and the capulets

For history class we were doing ancient Greece. One of the questions was relating greek culture to modern day society and I wrote a bit about a cult classic based on a book which drew its inspiration from a greek tale. Other than a few "CAAAAAAN YOU DIG IT!?"'s during presentations that's about it.
