Japped. Anyone know exactly what this word means? I haven't heard it anywhere else besides this movie. Is it just a substitute for "jabbed" or does it mean stomped, wrecked, wasted?
Fox: "A train would help, unless you want to get japped on an open platform."
------------------------------------------
Vermin: "We're gonna get japped here, we're gonna get japped!"

Probably Jumped, or wasted.

Actually come to think of it I think it means something more along the lines of jumped like Ramsey mentioned. Getting wrecked and wasted can happen in various ways but I think getting japped is more like getting jumped/ambushed or something like that

actually a slang term for : surprize attack, to be attacked without warning
As in, it became a street term with relevance to Pearl Harbor---
dawn attack by Japanese fighter Pilots (Japped) and took the island/US unaware.

I thought this was pretty painfully obvious...

Ranchgal is correct. This term was used in the 70's quite a lot.

Okay, I thought that term had kind of fallen into obscurity by the late seventies. Maybe that's a holdover from the novel.
