why didn't snow or cowboy help Ajax?

No they couldn't Cowboy and Snow were outnumbered by the cops their were two each in a squad car. their were 6 so if cowboy and snow went to help Ajax they would of been arested too.

Plus unlike the video game, its not that easy to beat up a bunch of cops, and just run away.

If Ajax hadn't tossed his bat away he might have used it to smash the bench so the cuff would slide free.

I'd ike to point out that though ajax was strong, it still isn't too easy to break a park bench and it doesn't happen very often. The woohd ajax smashed at the start of the film was ply wood, which is easily destroyed. Aside from that, cops had guns back then just like today folks. And hem seeing as a ton of them were dirty, i don't think they would have much of a problem blasting two gang members wielding bats. Besides it only took one cop to waste the Fox. The others may have been stronger but in each squad car we're talking two cops. Since there was around three squad cars thats a good six, night stick swinging, cops. Not very good odds for our anti-heros.

Yeah, i would have loved for snow and cowboy to throw down to save Ajax. But, two squad car full of cops and only two warriors. And also, at the time i'm sure rumbling with any cop was the last thing you wanted to do in a gang.
Besides they can only get ajax for simple assault and nothing else, he never did anything with her. I figure back then he may have spent 6 months to a year in Juvie/jail. depending on how old he was supposed to be.

Sorry buddy, ajax would be servging at least 3 years. Attempted rape. ressiting arrest, assualting more then one officer....yeah....lets just say he wouldn't be seeing daylight in anywhere close to six months.

Well by the end of the film you see the cops as badguys. Why would someone get in trouble for beating up a badguy...and then it hits you, The Warriors aren't exactly good guys. Its no biggie that it slipped your mind.

Even Walter Hill said he had misgivings after Ajax was taken out. I believe the reality of the criminal justice system would have seen a plea down of sentence for Ajax most certainly. He woulda got bail and he wouldn't have served a full sentence. Hey you get bail for most murder charges. Anyhow any final sentence would have been less than a maximum to start after plea bargaining and he would have probably served less than even that in the end.
