When the train arrives at Stillwell Avenue, you can see a blue water slide in the background. Was just curious if anyone knew if it was still there. Random.

I've always noticed that too. I am pretty sure that is gone.

It was a toboggan part of one of the amuzement parks. It is long gone.

There's a shot near the end of the film where you can also see a second roller coaster (second meaning not the famous Cyclone of of course). I forget its name but that has been since torn down as well. Just thought I'd add that useless fact

that was the Thunderbolt rollercoaster.. last run was in 1983 and demolished in 2000..
if you watch the Woody Allen film "Annie Hall" - the Thunderbolt was built over the small hotel.. imagine all the rick-racket noise everytime the coaster goes overhead..

the next time you see the scene where they arrive back at stillwell avenue in coney just before the train stops look at the blue snake like looking object.
