Hi folks, I have got a recent photo of Terry Michos working as a News Anchor. He is doing well.

Nice find! It's always cool to see how the actors look now. That appears to be a Cablevision sign behind him.

He's a news anchor for a cable TV station just outside New York I believe.

Word up, I have got more information on Terrence Michos.

Terrence thinks upon his acting role in The Warriors as a good experience and I believe that he is glad that it has a good following. I also have some interesting factoids which I'm sure you'll enjoy!

I'm sure you've heard of the movie The Wanderers, well Terrence actually auditioned for that, after auditioning to The Warriors. When the producer of The Wanderers discovered that he auditioned for The Warriors then he chose not to audition him. Terrence had auditioned for the role fulfilled by Tony Danza. Coincidentally, Tony Danza took the role and decided against a part in Taxi, so Terrence stepped in and took his part!

As we found out in another post a few days ago, Vermin's character was to be killed off.

It was Terrence's idea to make his character more comical (something I think is great) as he thought that the film needed a "comedy character" to make him more unique. He also used this to his advantage to get more appearances in the film and to create a character people will remember (one of my favourite characters - hence my avatar!).

i like "vermin", he had a sort of a warm character and indeed his comedy persona gave the rest a character and showed the Warriors were more than just fighters.

True, though he didn't know this at that point in time. Still, he seemed to be getting some "real action".

Michos should make a cameo in the upcoming 2006 "Warriors" remake as the leader of "The Newsies"... Glad to see that he is doing well, it is always nice to see and hear about what these legends are doing these days...he still looks young! peace.
