Two Thins

How come after fox is killed and the two warrior groups meet up in the subway nobody asks where fox is? Nobody seemed to see him get killed so shouldn't somebody enquire about his whereabouts? Also when the D.J mis-informs the other gangs that it was the warriors who shot cyrus (The Turnbull A.Cs, the Baseball Furies etc) they are all safley back in there own areas. How did they all make it back so fast when it seems that just about every gang took the subway and it appears to be a very short time between the shoting and the anouncment, minutes possibly.

Mercy mentions that the cops "rapped" Fox or something to that effect. The other gangs weren't being hunted like The Warriors. I imagine that there probably was still a truce going on although this probably didn't appear so to The Warriors. The first set of gangs lived close to The Bronx, so they got home quickly. The Orphans and The Lizzies never went to the meeting, and The Rogues had a car. I hope this helps!

Also only 9 members from each gang attended so other members would be still be in thier own turf.

The fact that Fox was not mentioned in that scene seems to verify the fact that the actor walked off the set. It does seem rather strange though that no one asked about him. If I remember, Rembrandt asks: "where is everybody else?" Answers for Ajax being caught by the cops and the unknown whereabouts of Swan are mentioned, but that is it. Only Swan asks Mercy about Fox since the two were running together. His name should have been mentioned, but perhaps the director had other ideas.

adios,

Swan says to Mercy, "Where's the Fox?" She replies, "cop grabbed him." No one else seems to ask but it could be assumed that Swan would have mentioned it at some point.
"I think they forgot about the truce!"

In my opinion, Fox is the least likeable Warrior. While it is true that he holds that fight with a cop, that's everyting acredited to his courage. Reading others' comments already posted regarding the original script, it seems the directors had great expectations for his character, unfortunately his decision of quitting led to some drastic decisions. This doesn' t mean his whereabouts are not brought into question. But that point is already mentioned by the rest of the gang.

Good point J, so the ones we see chasing the warriors are actually the members that stayed behind

Well, not that the warriors are un-sympathetic to the Fox, but entering a gang means that war is inevitable.  We can care for our fellow brother, but we must expect that we can loose one another.  For all we know, the warriors never knew what happened to Fox, after all if you think about, techniqually they don't know what happened to Cleon eaither. After all they were only 9 out of a whole gang, theres only so much they can do for one another.  Its a jungle out tthere, and lose is a big possibilitie.  So moving on is the best thing.  As for the other gangs, getting back quick, Brooklyn is known for being at the end of all 5 boroughs.  Tats why its so annoying to travel from there to other boroughs.  Maybe there were other gangs from brooklyn, its obvious that since they were the target, obsticals were gonna get in there way.  Like the fire for example.  Thats what happens when you become the hunted.
