Help! off to new york in 4 hours and need advice on what to do at coney island,is the wheel still there? which bit of beach is the final scene set on?

Yes The Wonder Wheel is still right there in Coney Island. The last time I was in New York, which was in 2001, I went down to Coney Island to see the famous turf of The Warriors, I saw The Wonder Wheel during the day. I'd like to see it during the evening hours. You know just like in the movie. Hey, how long are you going to be in the Big Apple? I am going to be heading out there real soon.
