OK speaking strictly hypothetically:  I don't think any two warriors could whip the remaining seven.  I do however, believe that Swan, Cleon and Ajax could beat the other six in a brawl.  Any thoughts?  

Howdy partner. You know I have always wondered how a guy like Rembrandt maid into a gang like the Warriors, or any New York gang for that matter. Can you imagine what he would do if alone and surrounded by a group of Baseball Furies? He'd be the one getting a bat shoved halfway up his ass. Rembrandt seemed a little queeny for that movie. Happy trails.

Snow was a pretty good brawler, and Cochise held his own, but the rest other than the three you mentioned don't seem like they can hang with the rest, especially Rembrandt.

Rembrandt carried the spraypaint. He painted "W" wherever he went. He was the gang's artist, not their War Lord, that's why he was nicknamed Rembrandt, presumably.

wait is the guestion could cleon,ajax and swan beat up the other warriors?
if so i dont think so cause snow was tought so im preety sure in a fist fight hed beat swan and then vermin who is tought and cochise as well would gang up on ajax and the 2 on 1 well it would be close and cowboy,fox,and rambradt would beat cleon

Well in my opinion, Snow and Swan go the distance.  The rest is anyone's guess. 

okay this is my problem with the warriors....
first off, 9 delegates, actually 8, were hand selected(i assume by cleon) to go up to the bronx but why pick some whimps? and how were they chosen as the leader of their groups? i imagine each member is in charge of their turf in CI and cleon chose them because they were the baddest ones in each of the gangs...or sub-gangs if you will.

this only an example, not factual in any way
vermin - leader of his division and in charge of avenue A, B, and C
rembrandt - leader of his division and in charge of avenue D, E, and F
so on and so forth.....

if you're gonna pick 9/8 people, why pick someone nobodies from each of the territories? they were obviously chosen for some good reason and painting W everywhere shouldn't be one of them, nor some glass jawed schmoe who goes down with one punch. i mean, if you were warlord, would you take some whimps with you to some crazy gang meeting up to a part of town you've never been to? or would you take a bunch of dudes who kick arse and take names? personally i'd tell the sissies to stay home and bring the real men with me.

I'm with you on this, makes perfect sense. If I was Cleon I would be taking all the big guns with me, no way would I take the likes of Rembrandt and Cowboy.


As far as the main question, could Swan, Cleon and Ajax take the others.

Good question, I'm not sure.

You gotta remember Snow and Cochise can fight too, and Vermin aint too bad. Then you got 3 extra guys, thats 2 to 1. I say Snow and Cochise can go with any of those 3 and it will be close, and if they got another guy helping them then that could be the decider.

It depends if the likes of Rembrandt and Cowboy drop in one punch, because then it evens up in numbers real quick.

i dont think vermin would get destroyed by ajax.thats my opinion.i reckon they,d come out even.as both are brawlers their styles are pretty much the same.advantage slightly would go with ajax as vermin is bigger boned

i dont think cleon ajax and snow would beat the other 6.like a few peeps on here have said snow and cochise could hold their own.although we didnt see much of fox fighting in the film i,m sure he wouldnt be as bad as a lot are painting him,rembrandt is obviously the weakest but in time should become stronger and has the key.he has speed so if he was attacked by ajax who would come blundering in over confidant and cocky rembrandt hits him in the face like he did with the punks leader.lastly cowboy yeah he,d take a beating but if he had a weapon in his hands then it would take a little longer to get him down.yet again many peeps assume cowboy is a weak link in the warriors cos he went down in 2 hits by the furie leader.bear in mind he,d physically exerted himself with the running he did just to get away from the furies.but when in the bathroom against the punks he would have been full of adrenaline and was able physically to beat the living hell out of the punks which is what he did.

Now that I do agree with.

again with the cowboy thing, did nobody watch closely his fight with the punks, he rocks, you can always see him beating someone. nobody gives him enought credit well u know wat hes my favorie one

Reading through some of that... I'm guessing people are forgetting there was actually a truce going on?

That's why the likes of Rembrandt went along. Plus, he was just there to leave the mark.


As for Cleon, Swan & Ajax vs the other six - regardless of who they are, it's pretty damn hard for any 3 people to take on another 6. a ratio of 2:1.

Plus, who's to say if Cleon can even handle himself all that well? So what if he's Warlord - That just means he has the skills to lead. Doesn't nescessarily mean he can whoop some ass - let alone Snow, Cochise, Cowboy and Vermin's.

IMO, Ajax & Snow are the the toughest, the heavy muscle.
So in this hypothetical situation that reduces it to:
Swan & Cleon VS Cochise, Vermin, Cowboy, Fox & Rembrandt.

Not looking very good now is it.
Everyone seems to give Cowboy lots of shit, mainly due to the Furies incident - I'm not surprised he got knocked down after running for his life. You see how well you do after running from 9 crazy face-painted mofo's carrying baseball bats. Not only are you outnumbered but in unfamilair territory. And as far as I'm concerned, Cowboy held his mor ethan his own against the Punks [The Punks seemed more dangerous than the Furies anyway]

Swan VS Cochise & Vermin [Swan would get wrecked]
Cleon VS Cowboy, Fox & Rembrandt [Cleon would get wrecked]

Mix it up into any way you like, No way would Cleon, Swan & Ajax wreck the remaining six. No Way.

Well Cleon is an ass-kicker. He was knocking the Rogues around. The Kung Fu Riff knocked him into other Riffs and the rest is history. Cleon has a powerful presence and image. Since my first viewing, he was the one that could take any other Warrior one on one. I agree that Snow is a bad ass fighter and right there with those three. My original theory is just a theory.
