There's a couple of magazines with reviews for the new Warriors DVD on sale in the UK.

UNCUT DVD (launch issue) priced £3.99
and
DVD REVIEW (issue 83) £3.99

DVD REVIEW also has an article (5 pages) with Walter Hill talking about the film.

There's a cool bit where Walter Hill mentions James Remar....

"As for Remar, I remember one night we were under the elevated railroad and there was some real gangs there who were irritated that we were on their turf. So when the Warriors were running down the street, they pissed on them. Remar lead the Warriors up to where they were and he was going to fight them to the death. It didn't escalate - the guys ran away - but Remar was absolutely a 'Warrior'."

Cheers,

Go on ajax. Bet remar got so into character and just wanted to rumble. Then again if someone slashes on you, you got to act.

It's a 5 out 5 film as everyone knows. Some critics like to mess about and give it 4. They know it's a 5. Just gonna watch it now. Got a couple of beers to see me thru.

I got the DVD Review mag. Interesting how very little is made of the comic strip additions.

Also, I noted that Thomas G Waites is described as "the most successful cast member" - I'd have thought that would have been James Remar, followed by David Patrick Kelly?
