I had heard of this movie since . . . Well, since they mentioned it on VH1's I Love the 70's and it intrigued me, but I never thought to actually go out and rent it. But last night, I was flipping through the channels and I noticed they were showing it on Spike TV. I thought, "Eh, what the hell."

Oh. My. God.

This movie is frickin' awesome!!! I mean, I can't believe how much it reeled me in. Seriously, I kept getting annoyed every time a commercial came on. I went online right after the end to find out more about it. I can definitely see why so many people love it.

Oh, and because I am of the female persuasion, I'll close by saying Swan is too damn hot! 8)

I just got done watching it on spike also. If you enjoyed that edited for tv version I suggest you pick up a copy of the original on dvd, that version on spike is missing quite a few memorable lines and scenes.

This is the one to get, theirs quite a few others on ebay also.

My advice would be to rent the regular DVD first and then the Special Edition DVD, with the comic-book crap inserted in it...you are sure to find many takes and opinions on that in the forum here. But I would definitely say watch the proper version of the film first. Enjoy!

its something about this film that sucks so many people in ,ive showed heaps of mates the original uncut version and they love it aswell
