UMD review (quick overview)

for those that are curious, I got this on PSP UMD today at Tower for 14 bucks.
It's the Dir Cut of course. No featurettes, but the image is crystal clear and the sound is really nice with a set of headphones.
Couple pluses is that there isn't a bazillion previews to sit thru before you get to the menu and there is no mandatory Walter Hill intro tacked onto the beginning ( I respect the guy and all, but I hate having to go thru the scene select on the dvd just to start the movie)
Packaging is barebones, no inserts except for a How to Use A UMD sheet. The disc has the warriors Skull logo on it.

All in all the film is great of course and the picture quality cannot be beat. There is a tad bit of smearing on quick pans but this is inherent to the format and not a flaw with the UMD. This will get plenty of play in my PSP during business trips, long rides or a quick fix during lunch...
Definitely worth buying if you have a PSP.
