Well I mean lets look at one thing he left all of a sudden he complained about how his role really sucked even though he got a role that didn't die at the first scene.

He left for another project while filming.

I can tell you I have dealt with that at Drama Club and a person like that should not get any credit.

The Producers probably got really pissed with him for messing them around.

Yup, think about it. The producers have already filmed a good portion of the flick, and someone bails out. They cannot re-shoot, otherwise it will be a waste of film and not to mention a lot of $$$$. The storyline probably had to change to accomodate for a lack of one character.

adios,

I've posted this in another post but, he left because that changed the plot as he was meant to end up with Mercy.

He shouldn't have left though. I'm sure he read the script before they started shooting. If he had a problem he should have said something earlier. It's unprofessional to just walk out like that.

Yeah but he actually left because he got asked to do a part in another movie so he told them and the director said he needed to stay and finish the project then he stopped showing up all together.

So really Im not saying screw fox he's a good charecter but I just wanna say Screw Tom Waites!

To be fair, the other part was in "...And Justice For All" with Al Pacino. Gotta go where the money is I guess...

Either way I think the film does a good job with the plot with how they handle The Fox leaving the movie. It maybe would have been interesting to see what would have developed between him and Mercy because he after all is the one who took her away from the exploding car when the gang got away from The Orphans. But then again we may not have had all the cool scenes with Mercy and Swan, so perhaps The Fox's departure was all for the best.
Big Cyrus. He was gonna run the whole city...what crap that was.

I have a hard time picturing scenes with Fox and Mercy. He comes off as a something other than a tough gang member that a girl like her would end up with.

He must have been a significant part of the script in the second half before leaving.
