Sorry if this has been said but rewatching the orphans sence has made me relise why they didnt just take the vests off??? i mean after they realise the truce is off? the turnbulls attacked them so why not take thier colors off till they get home?

I know its a bit soft and ajax never would of but hell it would of made it a bit eaiser.

becuz the warriors have a strict NO sissies rule. cept for rembrandt.

I would say that everyone wouldn't take off their colors because they ain't stupid to do that. Even in front of some low-class gang. Fox said it's for their mark.

I think without their colors they would have been even more targeted.At least as warriors they had respect,without they would have been just a bunch of shirtless guys in enemy turf.

The moment The Warriors would take their colours off the Orphans would have snickered and gone after them right there and than - not that The Warriors were scared - no they were ready to fight anyone - but with their vests ON

Most gangs have a very strict rule about not taking off the vest/colors. It's supposed to represent who you are, where you are from, and who you roll with. There are biker gangs out there that state that you under no circumstances can ever let your back patch hit the ground. Plus considering that they had no idea what happened to their leader Cleon, they probably weren't about to go and disrespect him and the gang by dropping their colors and shuffling on home.
(Also if they took their colors off, the movie would have ended after the Orphans altercation haha)

lol Are you for real your suppose to be from coney island you must be to young to realize any thing about gang colors movie or not if your gonna wear the cut you better have the balls to back it up.
