The BROOKLYN ART MUSEUM is showing THE WARRIORS on HALLOWEEN @ 7:30pm & 9:30pm. They say there might be some special guests @ the screenings.

"Some of the future screenings will be double features and many will be followed by Q&As with special guests – something to keep an eye on."

That's actually Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). The Brooklyn Museum, which is an art museum, is a completely different venue. The guest at the 7:30 screening on 10/31 will be David Patrick Kelly, making what is billed as his first public appearance on behalf of the film. He is slated to introduce the 7:30 screening.

Less than a week later Walter Hill will be at MoMA (Museum of Modern Art for the uninitiated) to introduce his 1978 film THE DRIVER.

Damn it all to hell!

So, I’m sitting here at work, scheming and conniving (and not documenting the acquisition detail like I’m supposed to!) as to how I’m going to make the 326 mile, round-trip journey to this all in an evening, when I remembered I have an 8:00 AM flight to Charlotte the very next morning!!

I hope someone here (at the very least!) reports on the event, if not films it!!
