Was Ajax gay?

Ajax seemed obsessed about it from the beginning.First he asked Vermin 'Whats the matter,you going faggot? Then he says later when they were waiting for the train 'We're acting like faggots.
And then later he tells Swan,Cowboy and Snow'maybe you're all just going faggot.
So he seems to have some issues with this.I think me may be gay himself (albeit closeted)
or he is just a major homophobe.

or maybe that was the "thing" to call somebody back then like he was addressing it as a bad thing i mean come one we have all said "THATS SO GAY" but that dont meen we are gay if you ask me id say ajax is the straightest

You seem a bit obsessed yourself, Axman. Does knowing the sexuallity of the film characters make the film less or more enjoyable for you? Somehow, I can't see Ajax being in the Gay Pride parade.

I think it was a fair question,and by the way it wouldnt take away from his persona if he were.He could still kick some ass!

Absolutely not.
I mean, maybe gay fans would fantasize about Ajax being gay (lol, I'm kidding Axman)... but Ajax certainly didn't come off as gay to me. None of the Warriors did. And this isn't really a jap at males, but we girls tend to be more precise and correct when assuming a guy is gay.
Ajax gave the BIG impression that he was a homophobe though, through all his snide "faggot" remarks. And I agree with Wargod's earlier post: "That's so gay" is common to say as a derogatory remark, and doesn't mean the person saying it is gay.

He also used the word "wimp" a few times, but he definitely wasn't a wimp. If he was gay at all - and I really don't think he was - he sure didn't realize it. On that note, he probably was a homophobe.
There was a scene in the original script where Swan was captured by a gay gang - The Dingos. Just imagine if Ajax had been captured by a gay gang. He would kill them all or die trying.
