The Warriors - The Movie...

I was at work the other day...and some of the guys were talking about the PS2, Xbox360, games...which one was better...favorite ones, etc...I asked them if they had heard of The Warriors video game...they looked at me like I was from Mars...I told them about it...nothing...I asked them if they heard of the movie or had seen it...blank stares...I just shook my head 
they don't know what their missing. 
This got me to thinking...the last time I watched it...there felt like something was missing...then it came to me
I made some popcorn, grabbed a Pepsi, put in the DVD, turned off the lights, sat in my recliner, turned on the big screen and pressed Play. I watched the trailer first..."They got one chance!"..."They got one night!"..."The WARRIORS"
The WARRIORS start...The movie opens w/ the Wonder Wheel...the blood red title THE WARRIORS fills the screen then it's none stop action from start to finish The Furies, the Lizzies, the Riffs and the big dudes...The Warriors :!:I felt like I was in Michigan City, seeing it for the 1st time. 8) Shivers ran up and down my spine...my pulse quickened. The Furies looked scary as hell The Riff's...mean, pissed off and looking for payback The fight scenes were intense What can I say that hasn't already been said. The Warriors are the ultimate street gang.
So what was the differance...I got lost in the movie, I was part of the movie. I wasn't looking for bloopers or I don't like this part. I just watched The WARRIORS...the movie that set the standard. The Wanderers...joke. The Outsiders..."Stay gold Ponyboy"...puke. That's it...Watch The WARRIORS
