I played the game before I watched the movie. The movie to me seemed a lot shorter for some reason. There werent as much fights as the game. No destroyers. The movie basically is from when the meeting starts in the game. I think that they should make a remake of it and include all the stuff that is included in the game, also more realistic fighting.

No. Leave the movie the way it is. Its perfect. We've had alot of newbloods who have played the game first thinking the movie is gonna be some action-packed hour and a half full of violence, but thats not what the Warriors is. The game is ok, not the best, but I dont believe it does the movie justice.
The game isnt good enough to be compared to the movie.. also it has stuff that doesnt tie in with it. For instance, Swan says "We aint even ever been up to the Bronx before" in the movie, yet in the game you go to the Bronx on numerous occasions before the meeting. Hmm. Its all how you look at it I guess, but in my mind, the game should not be compared to the movie in any way.

When I first saw the movie (mid-eighties), I was completely sucked in by it. As time went on and you had the first Nintendo and new arcade machines etc., I would often think "Why is there not a game about this movie?" Nothing was ever done, but it would always be at the back of my mind when I was in the arcades or playing consoles or whatever. And then, out of the blue, comes The Warriors for PS2... And I thought it was AMAZING. Someone finally had the brain wave to make the game I (and probly many others) had been waiting twenty years for. For people like me, comparing the game to the movie is like bangers an' mash, one lego brick to another, and twins. They just go together.

yeah, we know all this, but i disagree, without an original there is NO remake, that is why every original is better. the game was amazing, but i didn't care much for the added parts. we are here because we love the movie, not the game. if you don't like the warriors just get out, we don't care much for people who worship only the game, and/or the remake and not the original 1979 classic.

Your tight on that one middle man but I just think that the movie doesnt really explain much or just doesnt go deep enough into the warriors as the game does, when the movie ended I kind of was like... thats it? I stilled loved it though.

I get ya Adk... The movie was deep, but the game just added more background to whole 'gang' feel to it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the movie, but it was so cool to hear more of the story and the other gangs, which is what the game gave us. It's the WHOLE picture I'm lookin' at and not just what the movie gave us.
