Why did they run away from train?

Post by The Swan »

I mean wouldn't it have been better if Warriors had changed train van during the stop at 96th subway station? If you watch the scene they got al least 10 seconds, from when they hear police steps, 4 going to another van without police could see them!
What do you think about men? 8)

Well if they started running they'd still get a cop chase there were loads of cops patrolling the place they knew they'd get caught out from the moment they heard the footsteps. They just went by their instincts.

Exactly, during these times, a cop had no problems ruffing up someone just to show whos boss.  People didn't sue like they did today.  Yes, there was always activists, but there never really was law firms that faught heavily against corrupt police.  So the cops got away with things more.  Yes we still do have major problems with police corruption, but back than they got away with things more, not that don't today.  But like Lions said, running in any direction just so you wouldn't be caught was the only instinct thing to do.  It didn't matter where you ran to, as long as it was not in the direction of the police.

Ye your opinions are all right, I imagine very well how were NY cops in those years! Anyway my idea was the Warriors run off without anyone could see them! However their instinct was right even if they maybe went to direction of the police... so I think simply if you're running off, better don't attract attention( police or not) if possible!!! 8)
