I agree with KillerMime, the high hats were downright cool, unique and I've always regarded them with a bit of a Clockwork Orange-style crazyness. I always thought of a situation in which for example some Hurricanes would walk by one of them, make fun of him, push him around and such. Then they'd enter a dark alley and find themselves staring at several High Hats with evil grins, ready to put out the storm.

The Boppers had a cool style too, I always pictured them as dancers, very smooth and sly.

I think the Punks have a nice kind of rag-tag style to them. Like they don't really care much how they look but it looks good anyway.
SUPER HAPPY PINEAPPLE MAN!

I always liked the shiny bomber jackets the Electric Eliminators and Moonrunners wear.

The Turnbull AC's have a very cool look too, aside from the bald heads, they didn't really follow a set uniform, and I think that works well for a bunch of anarchist thugs.

Did the Hawaiian shirt gang ever get named? They're one of the groups you see in the Nowhere To Run montage, wearing red shirts, hats and one guy, maybe the leader had a black leather jacket over his shirt.

Alright let me put it this way.  I agree that clowns can be very creepy.  Those clowns looked very non threatening.  They looked silly.  If the word here is style, they've got none.

Well I always went with the good old fashioned personality and strategic approach.  In the warriors movie, I don't think it is so much the muscle, but how one uses the power of the brain.  I believe thats what the movie was all about.  After all, the warriors were described as underdogs and look how they made it passed all those gangs.  If I had to choose, I would say the Riffs.  They look as if they have this whole disciplined mindset, that says that they did it all.  I just don't think it was their martial arts style, but the revolutionary ideas Cyrus put upon them to make them have a more focused and stable setting.  To hold the place as the most powerful gang in New York, they not only used their physical skills, but mental skills to be who they are. So to be in that position, means that you have a lot of style.  The Warriors speak for themselves, but to be the King of the mountain like Cyrus, means you are a man among men, which brings uniqueness.  Noe thats what I call style.

There you go man, just watched the trailer this morn for the millionth time and was thinking the Warriors defently had the best look.

I then saw this for the first time? and was thinking the same thing as you as I was going through it.

The Furys got a close 2nd place sewed up though. ;)

Well actually if you take a look at my earlier post, the warriors are an exception.  Their meant to have that unique look, and special style.  They all have that underdog look, and individual personalities that made them achieve the impossible, and make it through any obstacle put in their way.  So I guess we all know that already, and did not mention them.  We just wanted to explain the elements of the other gangs and what makes them tick.  We already know the warriors are the ones with the true style, so we did not talk about them.

Apart from the Warriors (who are, as standard, already too cool to include in this thread!), I'd have to say the Saracens. The 2-3 second clip of them strutting their stuff in their all black troo's and vests was enough to establish that these guys had STYLE. Simplistic yet effective and practicle when it comes to 'boppin''... Probably.

The gang with the least amount of style are definitely the Savage Huns. I've said it before and I'll say it again... I'd be laughing my head off at their get-up while they rolled me up.  :p

The Warriors have the best style. They're cool, and they're cool.   But seriously, The Warriors have something about them that you can't explain. I don't think there's words for it. They just are.

Furies have the strangest look, although the Hi-Hats hold a close second. The Furies are silent, as well as the Hi-Hats, but give a "We'll kick your ass" vibe off, while Hi-Hats give a "We just like the makeup" vibe off.

Just my $.02

in my opinion, no gang is the most unstylish. yeah, all gangs have their own attire and colours. for me the top 3 stylish ones are

1. The Warriors
2. Baseball Furies
3. Turnbull ACs

The Warriors cause they are just cool. The Furies cause of the face paint and bats, though they suck in their bopping. Turnbull ACs cause they are skinheads! I would really like a gang punk-like. Not The Punks but a gang like the present Punks, mohawks, tapered jeans, leather studded jackets, studded belts. that would be cool. And The Hi-Hats aren't that bad.
