Is it possible that the leader types use their real names? Cleon, Luther, Cyrus (I'm assuming that's his real name, sounds like it could be). Masai doesn't seem like the characters "real" name, it sounds like it's asian influenced.

"Masai" was an African tribe, I'm pretty sure. So still probably a pseudonym, but not asian-influenced.
