Question about deleted(?) scene

Post by Dolewhite80 »

In the trailer for the movie, in the Orphan scene Mercy says something along the lines of "So you're the big dudes huh". I haven't seen this in any of the deleted scenes on this site or "The Real Live Bunch" page. Does anyone have this scene or did I just overlook it?

My guess, and this is only my guess, is that it was taken out because Mercy was refering to the Warriors as "the big dudes", ie the ones who shot Cyrus. It was probably much too early in the movie for the to find out about this.

I think they left it out to set a feel for the movie.

I think Mercy was just trying to get a rise out of them when she said that.
she was really just being sarcastic, not meaning it at all.

Whatever the case, I still thinks it's funny when she tells the Orphan leader that soon every gang will boogie on in. That line right there lets you know that this movie was made a long time ago.
We're going in there like everybody else nine guys no weapons
