ya thats what i thought too, cause the goverment has blueprints of the entire city.

but the gangs could have made their own stuff like building and things like that.or they could set booby traps.it would be a night mare for the army

I think if Cyrus would have lived, and he was able to fulfill his dream of consolidating every gang in the Riff network, the National Guard, Army, etc. would have a serious problem trying to restore the city to normal. It would probably have been like "Escape from New York" if the gangs united under the Cyrus/Riff banner, and who knows what would have happened then....other than a serious conventional war between government forces and the street gangs in control of the city..

Well the movie would take a whole different turn, it would probalby be a whole different movie.
Maybe called "Army of The Night". It would be about how the gangs of New York got together and tried to take over the city. Probalby would have nothing to do with the Warriors, they might get a brief appearance like the Eliminators or the Hurricanes. "Army of The Night" would center around the Riffs starting up a mega gang and taking over the city.

if he successfully united all the gangs, it would be like escape from new york but there would be no escape!  they would then turn manhattan into a giant prison and cut off all access in and out of the city.  the truce between gangs would then cease and it would be every man for himself as human nature would take over and murder/mayhem/rioting would ensue.  :badgrin:

But could even Cyrus have kept the gangs united long enough to keep control of New York if they did suceed in taking it over? These were a hundred different crews, with their own agendas, and their own long time grudges, plus there will be plenty of gang leaders and high ranking members wanting a bigger piece of the pie, then the union would fall apart and it would be all out gang war, but on a much bigger scale. Or if all the "over a hundred more" gangs not on the Riffs network decide they don't want Cyrus and the bigger gangs running the whole city, they'd probably unite to form their own faction and make life difficult for the gangs united by the Riffs.
