Why Didn't he say anything?

OK, here's a question...

Why would Luther be dumb enough to shoot another guy (Fox) after shooting Cyrus? Maybe he gets away with it once, but certainly not twice.

I guess he just likes doing things like that...

Yeah, if that light hadn't blinded Luther, and he had pulled the trigger, then the Riffs would've jumped on him straight away. I never thought of that before.

He probably didn't think too quick an thought he could get rid of him so there would be no witnesse's but then he would be a prime suspect in cyrus's murder and.......

luther was so conniving he would have said he saw the warrior shoot cyrus, so he wrestled fox to the ground, took the gun away, then shot him. this way he'd look like the hero.

I think Luther was a little high, myself. The guy was waaay too worked up and crazed not to be. He'd either have to be stupid or high to think that he'd get away with this whole scheme - especially since Fox saw him shoot Cyrus. Also, it was simply the fact that a Warrior witnessed him shooting Cyrus and that another Warrior was actually hanging around in the aftermath that made Luther point the finger at them. If he says they did it, their crediblity becomes rather weak if and when they would try to finger another gang.

Ya know, if you want to use your imagination & read between the lines, whose to say Fox didn't tell Swan at some point who shot Cyrus??

Remember, the Warriors had to face off against a lot of gangs on the way home and at that point knew every gang in the city was looking for them, but when the Rogues walk out on the sand Swan specifically asks Luther why he killed Cyrus.

Was this just a lucky guess????????
