Would AJax challenge again?

Post by Twitch »

Swan being elevated to any permanent leadership role would have to be passed by the rest of the gang. He did real well for that night but that wouldn't be a guarantee of anything. It would be a huge plus if the rest that went to the conclave stood up for Swan if any nominating was to be done later though.

Would AJax challenge again?

I doubt either Swan or Ajax would be elevated to the position of Warlord. Swan did well granted on that one particular night and if he did stay around he may well of been promoted to Warlord of one of the affiliates however it's doubtfull he'd be given the duty of leading the full gang.

As for Ajax being leader well if the original script and the actual movie are anything to go by their quite a bit of antagonism between Ajax and some of the other Warriors that returned fromt he enclave so even if he did try to take control I doubt they would be supporters of his claim.

One thing does puzzle me, if I remember correctly and I may be wrong on this in the uncut version Cleon mentions the numbers, I think it was 120. In the game it says that Cleon and Vermin were the guys who started the Warriors, so for arguments sake lets say that is true. it throws up 2 questions.

Wouldn't Vermin be entitled to claim leadership as a founder despite some of his comments during the journey back to CI?

What reasons could Cleon have for not naming him the War Chief?

Would AJax challenge again?

i think ajax if/when coming back would not challenge again in the short-term for warchief...rather he would come back with his tail between his legs a little embarassed about the way he got busted.

i agree with ranchgal about swan...he would not want to be a long term warchief. in the heat of the night and with the expectation imposed upon him by cleon and the others, he took charge to get them home but...

he reflected on his life and where he is heading on the train back to coney. he really wants to take off and forget about the pressures, distress and troubles present in his curent life and instead find purpose, enjoyment and generally a better lifestyle some where else.

the logistics of this are a problem, he cant afford a ride in donald trumps jet and he wont get far walking (he'll get wasted in other gangs territory). Thus, i think if he were to leave it would be for good. it would be a case of whether he could manage to 'escape' the life that come before him. after all...its all he knows.

however, im sure that there would be a possibility of ajax going for warchief down the line whenthe dust has settled. this all depends on who would take immediate control of the warriors.

if anotehr strong leader was in charge, then ajax, as before would be controlled and fitted within the group. if there is a hint of weakness with the new warchief, then ajax would be in like a flash in attempting to take control (probably with little success, as in the graveyard).
