The Original.

That cartoon crapola gets in the way of the reaction that Ajax and Snow display as they get out of the 96th street station and meet those "clowns", the Furies for the first time.
I know they're on my ass... but now they know I KNOW it.

Is the original dvd, or the vhs rated 18? If so that sucks, all that stuff on the documentries extras like saying stuff about how it was banned from cinema's etc because it caused violence, how the hell did the director's cut end up a 15?

I got both versions and don't care for the comic book stuff in director's cut but it don't last long so it's ok I guess. The whole idea of a director's cut is that it shows the way HE wanted the flick to look, not what we might like.

Your right, I never really thought about it as a artistic graffiti type thing, but it does work well with that type of theme.

I dont like the comic book scenes, they look like they were put through a photoshop filter and done in 5 minutes. And of course I hate how the ending is cut short and you dont get to see them walking away on the beach like in the original version.

Despite the narrative opening i like the new version equally with the original. I actually haven't picked up the original DVD yet but own the original VHS.
