I wouldn't mind seeing it made into a movie. Just to see what could've happened and etc.

Not me, I don't want the guys who die in the original to die on screen too.

Perhaps make it into a stage show!
"The Orphans are behind you"
"No they're not!"
"Yes they are!"
"The Orphans are behind you"
"No they're not!"
"Yes they are!"
The one and only!
Re: Original Script
The script was made into a movie.
That movie was titled "The Warriors" and was released in 1979. And, just like every movie, it went through obvious and understandable rewrites. Rewrites which, judging by the relatively minute differences between the available draft and the final film, were not nearly as extensive or drastic as those through which many scripts - most, in fact - go.

I have to say, While everyone knows that film scripts get rewritten, and finished films get edited: I thought the original script circulating around, was majorly different from the rewritten finished film we saw.
When you consider that Swan is almost cut out of the middle of original, and -with both Cochise and Vermin getting killed off-course Fox lives, even though his character is totally different than the one we know from the movie-that seems pretty far from minute to me, but that is just my own opinion.

You all are just saying that you'd like to have seen the script made into a movie directly, or without changes. I think he knows, but was just making a comment on the way you phrased it: "I would like to have seen it made into a movie" and such.
When we get there; that's when we've made it.
