I love that so many of your dads are the ones who turned you onto this movie. I don't know why, but I just think that's awesome.

I have my dad to thank for getting me into film in the first place, I should have trusted him earlier..
I'm a man whose sick,
But I got class,
'cause you only get respect when you're kickin' ass

I was nine years old and my parents rented a vcr and three movies:First Blood,Rocky 3, and The Warriors. As our family was the second family to have a vcr (even if it was rented for the summer) all the kids in the complex came to watch movies at our house 8). After the kids had watched the movie (a few times a week during the summer) we all had "Warrior Fights" and I was usually Ajax or Swan

Hey RAGMAN, that must have been a cool afternoons viewing.

They just don't make films as good as they did in the 70's and 80's

Oh hell, I'm dating myself here. The first time I saw The Warriors was when it was first released. I went with my two older sisters and a coulple of friends to watch it at our local drive in (you don't see those anymore!) I was 10...YIKES! I remember being very taken by the film, it seemed so surreal. I immediately became a fan of the Baseball Furies...dressed up as one the following year for Halloween. Aahh...memories!

the first time i watched warriors

Post by chef »

the first time i watched the warriors i was about 7 it was a really hot day in aus (about 40 degrees celcius) and we just got a new vcr (thought we were cool hahah) so my sister and i went to the video shop and she actually picked it but i wasnt happy because i wanted a bruce lee movie. but when it went on and the music started with the wonder wheel in the background i was hooked. wewatched it like 22 times in 2 days and now ive seen it about 75 times just gets better all the time i just finished watching it speaking the dialogue word for word and my wife asked me how many times ive seen it i said about 75 and she said get a life ..lol to wich i replied this movie is my life...

one of my favourite quotes the boys are getting chased by the furies and ajax turns to swan and says "did we lose these fukn clowns or what?"
