i think the warriors would have laid low for a while seeing how they have just been threw alot. after swan leaves if he does they might all talke over in the sense of training the new guys. when ajax gets out (witch shoudnt be long cause he didnt do anything too bad) he would take over

I say this because if Rembrant is one of the toughest 9 out of 120 then they would be pretty lame as a gang.

Actually I have never heard them ever say they were the 9 toughest.
I heard that they were the 9 chosen specially for this mission--and each had a special job/assignment within the mission---no one ever says that any of them are tough except the soldiers in the middle-heavy muscles. Cochise, Ajax, Cowboy--and Swan as Warchief. Snow was definately tough, but he was also in charge of music/morale which makes him able to deal with people. Vermin was in charge of money/tokens--which makes him dependable--and we see later he is tough in his own right. Rembrant 's special job/talent was artistry--he was along to write on everything---and make sure everyone knew they were there--he was never set up to be tough--but they must have felt he could do his job and hold his own or they wouldn't have sent him.(plus he does get one pretty good hit in that bathroom--and he wasn't afraid coming out of the stall-he started all the action for them. Fox was scouting, knowing where they go, who was out there- what gangs they had to deal with-he was the aware one. Who did not seem to be afraid to fight in his own right either when push came to shove. So I don't know that all around toughness was the criteria for their selections for this trip.

Swan just said-"I THINK I'll take off" no one knows if he really did or not.
AND no one knows when, so I would think that according to gang lore at the time, he would have nominated a successor before he left-
my choice would be SNOW

I have been thinking about this alittle more, and have come up with a different idea----from the Warriors we know-IF Swan did take off I still like Snow.

But everything I have ever read has a gang chain of command--and Cleon is President--no questions----and when he designates the jobs out-(deleted scenes) There is no mention of a Vice President----only a War chief--Swan.

My thought is this---I think the 2nd in Command of the Warriors gang---did NOT go to the conclave---and therefore---leadership would have been established already with someone we haven't met when all the them got home and told their accounts of who may or may not still be alive, and coming home.

War Chief is usually one of the best planners, and fighters, makes stratagy--but is NOT the Vice President who is really the second in command.
So I don't think we have a clue as to who is actually leading the Warriors now that Cleon is not there.
And it would leave the way clear for Swan to take off or not , as he chooses, because choosing a War Chief wouldn't not be as hard as choosing a leader. those are just my thoughts though.

You could be right, the 2nd in command might not of gone to the conclave. I know if I were Cleon I'd be sure to leave some key members at home, so if something happened to the gang who went to the conclave, the Warriors as a whole could still carry on. But it's hard to imagine there being another member in the gang more worthy of 2nd in command than Swan.

As for who would take over if Swan took off, I think Cleon's girlfriend who we saw at the beginning might have a say in who takes over from her dead fella.

Snow would definitely have to take over. He had the qualities of a good leader.
Are you just gonna let any army walk in any time they feel like it?  Pretty soon every gang is just gonna boogie right in, soldier right through.

Cochise and Vermin are good but there guards slipped when they met the lizzies, Rembrant was more alert in my opinion and saved there necks

I'd say Snow is the best for the job cuz he's a good all rounder and is more like Swan

good topic, I personaly think that if Cochise stopped smoking the weed he might be a good warlord.....he's a little to chill tough, his reaction times ain't up to scratch....and so yes it has to be Snow

I don't think that Swan has left the gang. He said "maybe" so who knows what happened. But IMO Snow would be the one to take over his leadership.
