Ajax's Arrest Question

OK Ever since my first VHS copy in 1982, I have scanned the paused screen to see Ajax in the seen which shows police cars and cops in the distance. One cop says, "put that slime in the back." Snow and Cowboy are looking on. Can you see Ajax in that scene at all?

Good question, like you I've paused that bit many times and looked hard, but I can't see him, I don't think he's visible in that scene.

I just took a look for myself and after Ajax says to the cop "f'n wimp" I was unable to see Ajax in either of the 2 scenes with the cops that happens after. I bet he wasnt even in those scenes at all.

maybe he was crawing from the blow to the belly.

ok i have sat for 2 hours staring at this bit and zoomed in sooooo many times he just isn;'t there he must be in the police car or something.

that or hes behind the camera or off set taking 5 for a smoke break.

Checked the scene and Ajax does not appear in it. The interesting thing I noticed id that when the one cop says, "put that slime in the back." you see them open the rear passenger door and a cop climbs into the back seat.

Could it be that he is in the car by the time the camera pans on him.

Good question loins i never saw ajax in that scene either they were probably just putting the camera on the police car and not ajax.

Well I don't think he's visible, too!
Neither lookink to the left car nor the right car... maybe he is already in the car.

it could simply be a movie odd!!!

Yeah, I always looked on myself. I am guessing since so many of you actually searched closely, I would say that he was aready put into the car, and pushed all the way into the side we can't see. Plus with the windows being dark, maybe you can make out a shadow. My guess is that Walter Hill and James Remar agreed on not have the character look more embarassed, so they didn't show him.
