Re: Could luther have been a cop?
You think luther was a cop cuz he shot cyrus?I believe liuther could have been an undercover cop that acted like a gangmember..I think it is pretty reasonable do u?? No way was Luther a cop. Cops just can't shoot people because they want to. Especially with 900 witnesses. He was a psycho who jus...

Coney Island to lose sleaze factor
With these redevelopment plans for CI finally getting underway, it looks like coney is gonna lose a lot of its character. Wonder wheel and the cyclone will still be there, but check out these artists renderings of what the future coney will look like. Imagine the warriors trying to look tough when...

Re: How did the Riffs get to Coney Island?
I'd say they had to take their own vehicles because they just didn't have time to take the subway. The informer told Masai that it was the Rogues who killed Cyrus, and Masai would have known that the Warriors were almost back at Coney and that he had to get his men there in a hurry. So I'm guessin...

Re: Cyrus was ambitious
Yeah, I always took that to mean that he wanted to tax the mafia and triads for using their turf. Easier said than done, of course. I don't think the Italian and Russian mobs and Chinese triads would take too kindly to a bunch of kids telling them what to do. I always thought this was yet another ...

Re: Movie reception
What happened was, the movie was real popular when it was initially released. It was number one at the the box office the opening weekend. Then the movie got a lot of bad press because of a bunch of violent incidents in theaters around the country. So Paramount allowed theater owners to pull the ...

50 to 100 miles from here
"Coney Island must be 50 to 100 miles from here!"
I always found it interesting when Vermin said that line. It was actually only about a 30 mile trip. I can understand him saying fifty miles, but a hundred? Probably why they never put Vermin in charge of directions

Re: Warriors board game
The way I would picture it, the board would be set up sort of like monopoly. You get to pick one Warrior as your "piece." Eash square on the board represents some part of the journey, like a subway station or a graveyard. You roll the dice and move forward. Some of the squares represent other ga...

Warriors board game
They should make a Warriors board game. You know, you get to pick your Warrior, roll the dice, make it to the conclave, bop your way back to Coney, don't get sent to jail, etc, etc. I don't actually play board games anymore, but I'd buy that one.

Sounds like good watchin.' The Warriors, at least. Not so sure about Starflight: The plane that couldn't land.
Although, I remember as a little kid watching The Warriors once on network Tv in the late eighties and it was edited beyond belief.

Re: Why The Rouges shot Syrus
Yep, this question has been asked before. Many, many, many times. But anyway, we'll never know who Luther was talking to. Probably just a contact, someone in the Riff's network who knew what was going on. Luther explains at the end why he shot Cyrus. "No reason. I just like doin' things like tha...

But...the warriors did waste the Furies. And it was nine versus four. And the Furies had bats.
You did see the movie, right?
