EVERYONE, NEW OR OLD, INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE

My name is Manda; I'm 28 and currently living in a tiny little Midwestern town as I finish up grad school. I first saw the movie about ten years ago and fell in love with it instantly. I've been very glad to find this site and the large number of like-minded fans. :D

AmI the only one who does this??

I've got to agree with this one--about both movies! And I suddenly feel much less weird about finding myself watching favorite scenes so often. :D

What if Mercedes wasn't so inviting?

Beyond the comments on his muscles and such, I would think that comments like "show me how you play with the chicks" and "we'll get it on" would have made it entrapment, pure and simple. But as haterist pointed out, standards were different between the time the movie was made and now. That's not to ...

Rembrandt....completely useless?

To have Rembrandt as a Warrior for unforseen ridiculous circumstances, such as protecting the Warriors at the Lizzies when other Warriors might be preoccupied, that's just absurd. Rembrandt sucks but he can paint a "W" like apparently no other Warrior can. That's it. End of story. The little brothe...

For the Female Warriors

That sounds great. :D I was really surprised that I'm not the only female around who loves this movie, and I'm so new to the site, I'd love to meet new people.

Do you like the Directors Cut?

I just had a chance to watch the director's cut a couple of nights ago and my feelings on it are mixed. On the one hand, the comic-style transitions weren't as bad as I thought they were going to be. On the other hand, I wonder about how good it is to add anything that slows down the pace of a movie...

FOr the girls here

Aww, he is. And smart enough not to get suckered in by females with guns (or policewomen on park benches! )

FOr the girls here

I realize this thread is a little old, but I'll toss my two cents in here:

Ajax.

Although if it were real life, I'd probably be scared of him, and would like someone like Rembrandt better, let's face it: Ajax is just really attractive.

Need some help guys

I'll tell you what you could do, you could arrange for a horde of guys to dress up as the Turnballs or the Furies and arm them with planks of wood and bats, and when he least expects it, when he's walking down the street, get them to chase him. Believe me, he'll run so fast he'll probably break qui...

Rogue snack's?

It's Bit-O-Honey. popular candy in the 70's that went the way of the Reggie Bar and candy cigarettes. Actually, they still make Bit-o-Honey. I'm living in a very small town now and the stores here always seem to stock candies/foods I thought they stopped producing years ago. (It's the land where ti...

Re: Controls Anyone Else ?

Hey guys, i have never been a fan of the joystick on the ps controller.I think it is so much more difficult to get your character to run around. On some of the earlier games, you had the option of changing it from joystick to d-pad, but now you have no choice.I think this is a big fault in games now...

Was Rembrandt a......?

Personally, I really like Rembrandt--he's one of my favorites, and never seemed gay to me at all! But when I show the movie to my friends they always laugh at him and ask how he can be in a gang. When I showed it to my roommate, during the fight in the bathroom scene, she just kept pointing out "He'...
