Re: YOU SEE WHAT YOU GET!!

Being a fan of the Orphans is like being a Cubs fan.  You know you're never going to win, but you still root for them.

Re: Warriors DLP on 60Ft big screen

The movie theaters in Dallas advertise that you can rent individual theaters.  They allow you to use the screen for presentation.  I'm not sure what equipment they have or allow.  Some churches use them for weekly services.  There also becoming popular for company meetings.  It may not be that expen...

Re: slight problem with bans because of the time zones (for the mods :) )

What I noticed is that my day starts with my created time, which was about 1 pm.  So, if I post 5 times in an afternoon and then 5 the next morning (which I did the first two days), it looked like I had made 10 posts in a day in my profile.  Once the time was past 1 pm, my profile changed to 5 per d...

Other than the Rogues, I don't remember if any of the gangs the Warriors fight are shown at the conclave.

Re: Why "48 Hours" was the sequel

That was some creative thinking.  =D> =D>

I wonder if there is another pair of unrelated movies that you can make a connection like that.

Re: Who is against the 2008 remake?

i have read that it will not be a remake. The only similarities will be the main gang will be The warriors, and the leader of the biggest gang gets killed. The issue that bugs a lot of people is that they are using the established name of "The Warriors" in a new film in an obvious attempt to cash i...

Re: the game is overrating the Warriors movie

When I play a game based on a movie, I prefer it if there is some deviations from the film.  A game can add plot twists without detracting from the original movie.  If a game follows the movie exactly, I feel you can lose some of the excitement because players know exactly what is coming next.

Re: Where were you when you first saw THE WARRIORS?

When it was released in the theaters, I was only 9, so I didn't get to see it then.  I think the first time I saw it I was 14-15 and it was on one of the cable movie channels.  Then a couple of years later, we got a VCR and I rented it and watched it a couple of more times.  It was one of those movi...

I post and mod at www.themanroom.com.  Used to be big on gamefaqs, but I'm rarely there now.  A few other places that I hit on rare occassions.

Re: Cars & Bikes

I'm driving a 99 Buick Regal and the wife has an 06 Honda Odyssey.  She keeps saying the car is dying and we should look at getting a new one and I'm telling her quit putting the whammy on my car because I don't want two car notes.

Re: What kind of things that are gone now do you miss?

I was born in 1970, so I think I have a few things that haven't been posted. The Bozo Show from Chicago.  I got to go see it live once.  My parents were on the waiting list before I was born. Like Cola.  I think this may have just been a test run in Chicago.  I think Pepsi made it.  It was a lemon l...

Re: Best female character in a comic book

I'm not a big comic reader, but my favorite female is Edsel from Mage.  The comic is immeresed in the story King Arthur and Edsel was the modern incarnation of the Lady of the Lake.  Plus, she drove an Edsel.

I think you have to stick to the original formula and make it all unknowns.

Re: On the way to the meeting

With the raid at the conclave, I think it's safe to assume the cops knew what was going on.  Travelling to the conclave isn't a crime.  Get them all in one place and you get them for some sort of organized criminal activity.  Although, you don't see them arrest anyone.  Must have been harder to do i...
