Re: ATTENTION NEW-JACKS!!!!

I'm putting myself in the line of fire guys. Hope I don't screw this up ;) Everyone of us has that primitive need for survival inside. People can go to great lengths while trying to preserve their existence and of those who are close to them. It's a basic instinct we inherited from our ancestors and...

Re: anime lovers

That sounds really good. I like anime very much but I'm more inclined to the ones with a dark, gloomy feel to them. I would love to see The Warriors in that style. I think it would link well to the original movie too (most scenes are at night, rugged city atmosphere). Expect to see some of that work...

Re: If cyrus didn't die do you think the truths of the gangs

Think the same too. Altough Cyrus would have to be a charismatic and strong leader in order to maintain the unity between the gangs. Everyone might have worked together to achieve their goal of ruling the city but once that was done and the fighting was over they would probably turn to eliminating e...

Re: Which comic book character or team would you like to see?

I would love to see Batman: Gotham by Gaslight made into a movie. It's a story which places Batman in the 1880s fighting Jack the Ripper in Gotham City. As I love night-scenes, the urban atmosphere of the Victorian era and the dark side of this masked vigilante this would be a phenomenal adaptation....

Re: Green Street Hooligans...

I really enjoyed it. I think having an interest in football and football supporter groups helps ;) Mind you that Elijah Wood is an Harvard student who stumbles into this world of football hooliganism. Not your typical badass.
Want to watch Football Factory but haven't found the DVD yet.

sharker_93:
I found out about it on the net. Just by chance. Don't remember exactly where. I searched more info on the movie and came up with this forum.
Not long after that I bought the DVD and became a fan ever since.

Re: What Movies made you cry?

I cried when I watched Edward Scissorhands for the first time. Keep in mind I was really young then and that I thought it was based on a true story. You have to admit that would be messed up. And there was that really sad music. Man, was I devastated ;)

Re: A Clockwork Orange

Before I saw the movie I thought it would be something completely different. Just gangs fighting and violent crimes. I was surprised it revealed to be much more than that. It's just so distorted at times with this gang leader who lives with his parents and who loves old ludwig van.

Re: The Gangs of New York

Those first ten minutes of the movie just blew me away. I think the only time I was that impressed by the beginning of a movie was with saving private ryan. You know when the opening scene just gives you a punch in the stomach. The brutality of the fight, the crudeness of the weapons, it just seemed...

Re: Romper Stomper

I really like this movie. I think Russel Crowe did a great job. You can really feel the commitment, anger and brutality of the character. The fight scene with the Vietnamese kids is cool too. A good old-school bashing. In my opinion it gives you a better insight into the skinhead movement than Ameri...

That's a pretty funny project Ninth Delegate. Your dog really looks cool in that one. Way cooler than Luther ever did :).
It would be fantastic to see some more of these going around.

I didn't want to get in confrontation with you Tantive7 . As you said just standing my ground and making my point. Regarding my name I've already talked about it elsewhere in the forum. This might seem really boring, stupid or outright sacrilegious to you ;) but I picked this name because of The Orp...

Another great one doyle!
This would look really cool on a tee. I've said it before in another topic and I say it again you've got some serious skills.

Cheers

Wandering what he meant with 'fans of the original will be pleasantly surprised'. Is it because the new movie will contain some strong references to the 1979 one?
Can't wait to see some oficial info coming out.
