Re: The Warriors Location Documentary

Great job!!  Thanks for your efforts.  It was great to see the clips and then your filming of the present day location.  It must have taken some work to locate those places.  Were they far apart?  Looking forward to your part 2! At this point I am not sure I am going to do a part 2. I am so busy wi...

Re: No Warriors?!?!?!

Great topic. I saw ALOT of films between the ages of 6 and 14 that have had a major impact on me and The Warriors was a very important piece at that influential time of my life. I remember the exact theater, although it is no longer there, where I saw the film with my cousin at the age of 11 and com...

Depressed over Coney...........

We all knew this was going to eventually happen. This is just so depressing. I am just glad I was able to shoot my documentary before it was gone.

Re: WARRIORS SPRAYPAINT CAN ON EBAY...

Yeah, I won one of those back when they had the actual contest from Rockstar.

Its actually a beautiful piece and I especially like the metal ball they put inside the top to give it the impression of a real spray paint can when you shake it. I also think its cool that they stuck a t shirt in there.

Re: Filming Location Maps & Aerial Photos

most of us deserve a good pat on the back for a job well done! thanks for the kudos  Agreed. Anyone, who looks for a location, and finds it, after all of these years does deserve a pat on the back, especially the places that have changed so much like the one you found. I remember filming t...

Re: Filming Location Maps & Aerial Photos

Hey everyone... I was able to find that view of Coney Island houses before Swan says "This is what we fought all night to get back to"...the view can be seen further down the same platform the Warriors get off at the end...the B train used to run on this line back in the 70s but now the D train sto...

kjghhklgjhkjmighkmjhgklmhmgfklhghg Don't you just love it when newbies try to pad their post count with complete stupidity? To F1967, this is awesome. Absolutely awesome. I have one thing to ask though. Would it be possible to get a better quality version? I can barely make out what's going o...

Re: The Warriors Location Documentary

Great documentary.  It's good to see the locations now and the comparison with the movie. That was my big thing with making the documentary. I didnt just want to show the locations, I wanted to have a side by side comparison. That allowed me to NOT have to do an audio commentary over the film to le...

Re: The Warriors Location Documentary

You did an AWESOME job, man! Are you gonna shoot some more..? The 14th street subway station lookd pretty much the same. Also I believe they filmed alot of the orphans turf in Brooklyn. I believe on the "j", "m" line...? If you look in the film, you can see the train letter. Wish I was back in NYC!...

Re: The Warriors Location Documentary

Yeah good stuff, the best bits for me were the scene of the Furies chase. I really thought those guys were going to come over that hill, because you got the angle spot on. I also really enjoyed the graveyard pictures, I tell you why - because there was no people. I'm betting that shooting the grave...
