I a cross between Swan and Snow.  Swan, because I'm not afraid to take over as the leader if I have to and Snow, because I'm also a supportive follower if I have to be!

You're right, but what I'm getting at is........if Mercy had never been in the script to begin with, I don't think we would've cared too much. But the whole concept of the Cyrus character was very important to the film. Dig it?

Cyrus was a HUGE part of the film, it needed him. The film would've survived just fine without Mercy, but at least she helped them fight the Punks and she wasn't all scared. She needed a change, the Warriors were everything the Orphans were not and she liked that excitement......plus Swan really lik...

I can understand them having a youth worker, but I think Fox was lying when he made the comment about them being mentioned all the time. Swan and Fox were just trying to butter them up to get through the hood in peace. It would've worked had Mercy not added her two cents.....lol!

Rembrandt would've sprayed them all to death and Vermin and Cochise would've fought just as well as Snow, Ajax and Swan.

I guess the prom couples couldn't afford a limosine that night, but they were a good addition to the film. They were care free and innocent. I think deep down Mercy would've liked to feel that way, even though I think a part of her liked being a bad girl!

Snow is definitely my male alter ego..lol. Level-headed, concerned about others and turns tough when necessary.....oh yeah, and good looking!

Movies based on books, RARELY stay true to the book. One of the reasons we enjoy movies is because they entertain and get us away from the "real world" for a couple of hours and its racism. I'm glad the film wasn't strictly all black gangs, or Latino gangs....that would've only fed negative stereoty...

When Vermin pulled Mercy into the men's bathroom before the Punks fight......that was pretty funny to me.
