There's a pretty new movie called the Purifiers which is about gangs/martial arts and definitely Warriors inspired.

What other movies are strongly Warriors inspired ?

A lot of people say the Wanderers, i'm not so sure

I watched it again last night and it hasn't dated as much as i thought it had when i rewatched it last year.

It has dated a bit for sure but the substance is still there, the gritty storyline and drama

The fight in the toilet still has as much impact now as it ever has.

Firstly, thanks to this site, finally got to see this scene. I can see why it was deleted, the bit with Cleon's girlfriend was painful. I did like the bit where Cleon chooses his warriors and why they are included. Also shows why Ajax and the other black guy are the better fighters, they were chosen...

An underrated scene in the movie i feel is when the Warriors have just beaten the Baseball furies and you seen the looks of respect between Ajax and Swan. Very cool scene
