Re: The Beatles: White Album Info

This is an amazing album. Now I'm gonna have to go home and hook up my old turntable (inherited from my parents) and give it a spin. The beatles were so great dude.

Re: Comic Books

X-Men and Spider-man are the best. I never got into DC, I seriously dislike them. Been a marvel purist for as long as I've known about comics.

A lot of the Wolverine solo comics were good, particularly Frank Miller's Wolverine. Amazing work.

Re: Friday Night for Cowboy *UPDATE - 6-24-06*

Saturday - 5:00 am The sun began peeking over the horizon, slightly brightening the sky. As it became a soft pinkish purple, the Warriors were all ready for a rumble. They stood in a tight group, watching all directions. Swan held the front, Ajax just behind him, with Vermin, Cowboy, Bert, Ernie, an...

Dude, we're so going, Real Tough Chick and myself... she is my woman after all  :p

The Warriors is way too big a part of our life to not go... I doubt anything is gonna keep me away.

Hey everybody... WS vouching for this chick, cuz she's mine, and it's my fault she's a Warriors nut.  Eh, yeah, I was on the forum a loooooooong time back, before there was really anything on it, when that homestead site was the warriors head hancho... then I moved and lost the net for so long...

Re: Questions

Thank you, Emissary, for describing the ending of the remake.  I kid. Anyways, I would have to say that Luther chose The Warriors to blame, because he noticed the Fox saw him. And if it comes to it, it would be Luther's word against the Warriors' word. So he figures he's covered. And also, eve...

Re: no remake

It's not even about what's good or bad, what's cool or sucks... it's all about money. Unfortunately, they create movies to fit into a specific demographic... and in this case, they're looking to please the bulk of 13-17 year olds, who tend to have crappy taste, so the movie won't be very good. What ...

Re: Better way to make the remake.

Since they're doing a remake, it should be held closely to the original novel, just modified for today's times. And it should be eerie and frightening like the novel, I was really into the dark creepiness of it.

Re: Warriors TATTOOS

I'm planning to get the Warbird on my right shoulderblade, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to afford it. I've also considered getting the signature W somewhere, but in black instead of red.

Re: what happens in the winter time

Everybody keeps mentioning the fact that some of them were shirtless... but New York city is hot as all hell in July, when the conclave is supposed to have taken place. Granted, the whole movie wasn't shot in July, but that's when it takes place.

Re: what happens in the winter time

In times of war, they had rules, where you never fought in the winter, there was a truce, that was unwritten, and understood, because fighting in the snow is hard as hell. So I would figure street gangs follow the same basic set of principles. Or at least if there's snow on the ground, uphold a truc...

Kartoon, in all fairness, this is the first time I have ever done anything like this, and if you look back over my posts, you'll see that they generally of good quality. I've always done my best to be a good member. I had an off day. I even apologized for it, in private, and in public. How 'bout cut...

Re: Coney Island Santa Claus

I want to uh... apologize to everyone for my childish behavior, and to Cowboy, for being such a jerk to him...  we all have bad days, and it's no excuse, nor does it justify such a childish act of throwing a fit over one comment. I'm sorry everybody... I'm not going to let it happen again.

How can you say his aim is way off, blind or not? Did he not shoot Cyrus from a hell of a distance? Where do you get your information from, new blood?
