Re: WHO IS LUTHER TALKING TO????????!

We settled this a long time ago on the Fan Fiction board: A Wall Phone Luther listening to his dog on the receiver. Rover:  No food, no water and I have worms in case you need a reminder. Luther:  Yeah. How are you? I was just checking in. Rover:  You listening to me dummy?  You leave without lettin...

Re: What gang would you want in a spinoff movie?

I would love to see a prequel that focused on the Rogues.  It would be interesting to find out more about the hierarchy and the members of the gang.  Exploration into Luther's psyche to find out why he would say, "I just like doing things like that" about killing Cyrus would be fascinating.

Re: Who set that goddamn fire?

If the Orphans had set the fire it would have been to re-route the Warriors through their turf presumably so they could take them out and gain respect from the Riffs.  At one point the Orphans were prepared to let the Warriors walk through their turf if they "came in peace".  They only got upset aft...

Re: Favourite Gangs

I went with the ACs and the Riffs.  Both were hardcore and never showed any weaknesses.  They were both gangs that no one else wanted to tangle with.

Great read and find, thanks War Chief.

I think the "uk" in the link is the problem.  Try this:

Re: reading the book

Congrats MM.

The other thing that bothered me was when Hinton was wandering around eating.  Exactly how many pounds of food did this kid consume in an hour or so of time?  How much cash did he have on him?

Also, the scene in the bathroom with the prostitute was just strange.

Re: reading the book

The book was poorly written.  Sol's intro is essentially an apology.  He definitely had insight into gangs and the whole social phenomenon surrounding the dark side of the New York scene at the time but he falls short in many areas.  Did he actually walk through an NY subway tunnel alone?  Doubtful....

Rambo II (I needed that last hint.)

"Next thing I know I'm in Saigon... in a secret lab synthesizing mind-altering drugs. Not the street stuff mind you. They had us isolating special properties. The dark side, you know? They wanted a drug that increased aggressive tendencies."
